In this video, Ela takes you LIVE over the shoulder as she goes through a shopping centre looking for items to resell on eBay for a profit. She shows you the little known Zik Mobile App, and how you can basically use it to find items to resell on the fly. This is a complete game changer! Here is a brief overview of this video. 0:28 Reselling on eBay using the Zik Mobile App 0:31 Finding our first product to resell on eBay - The first product that we found was a luggage bag, which we were quickly able to analyse on the fly to give us a profit margin of around $12! You can see Ela do it over the shoulder in all of 40 seconds, she was able to scan the product, analyse it and calculate the profit to validate the product being viable to resell on eBay. Amazing! 1:16 Reselling a Yoga Mat on eBay - We found the average price for a yoga mat on eBay to be around $13.22. Now, if we decided to sell this product on eBay for $13.99, we would have around a $7 profit for each of the items we found in store. 1:45 Reselling a bathrobe on eBay - This was the third product that we found, and it was selling for roughly $17. Now when scanning this item on the Zik App, we see that equivalent products are selling for around the same price. This one was a bust guys, we can see that after the fees and purchase costs, we can see that this is not a viable option to list on our store. The app is great because it allows you not only to find profitable products to resell on eBay, but also allows you to find items to discard if they are not profitable. This not only saves you time, but saves you money as well! Heres how! - 0:29 Use category research on ebay and Zik analytics as well as product research to find the right price to sell your bike and mkae a profit. 0:42 Go into ZIK and perform some category research - Go to sporting goods - Type in Bikes as your sub category, and select the condition as brand new (assuming you are buying the bikes new) - Leave the product location as your country and hit search 1:23 How much can I sell my bike for online on eBay? - Scroll down to the product section and look at the variety of bikes that have sold, for what price and in what style and condition - We can see in this example, a road bike that has sold several times for around $259 - Based on this research, we know that road bikes seem to get a lot of searches and are a popular converting title and keyword on eBay 3:39 product research to sell my bike online - We are now in Zik and we type in road bike and set the location to United States - We select all the items and click on zik selection - Notice, the selection is much more narrow now as we are using a targeted keyword instead of a broad one 5:10 Pricing my bike to sell on eBay - Look at the other bikes that are the most similar to yours that have sold, noting down the differences that they have to yours. - You will be able to get a good idea from what is selling, and for how much based on what features the bike has 5:22 Checking how much my bike will sell on amazon? - Go into amazon and perform the same search, and you will be able to get a bit more details as to what is selling. - In this instance, we can see that mountain bikes are coming up often, so we take that keyword and enter into Zik - Select all products and hit zik selection - We know that road bikes and mountain bikes are different, but let's see what the market value is - Looking at the product lists, we can see the prices vary from $100 to around $230, slightly cheaper than the road bikes but still at a healthy price point 6:47 Can I sell my used second hand bike on eBay?
